Community Shield heads to Manchester

Manchester United won the Community Shield 3-0 on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Wembley. Edwin Van der Sar was undoubtedly the man of the match, saving all three penalties he was faced with, efforts from Frank Lampard, Shaun Wright-Phillips, and new boy Claude Pizzaro.
Last season, Sir Alex Ferguson said that: a) he would let Ben Foster go on loan again if he didn't displace Van der Sar by this Christmas (which I think will happen...Foster's good, but not going to be as good as they're hoping), and b) that Van der Sar would be dropped because he let in the goal that won Chelsea the FA Cup. I don't think that'll happen.

Anyway, for more on the Shield win, here's a link from BBC Sport.
